& FUSION FM - "THE FINALE" ACROSS THE BOROUGH
ON AIR NOW

Fusion FM 87.7 is a chance for you to listen to the views, opinions, culture and ideas of the Youth of Middleton, Heywood & Rochdale, enjoy a wide range of music and talent and be informed of what’s happening for young people across the borough. The station has been developed by Rochdale Youth Radio, a steering group of 10 young people representing different neighbourhoods within the borough.
The Station, based at Demesne Media Arts Centre in Middleton, will broadcast live until Tuesday 4th November 2008, featuring shows and programmes by young people from across the borough of Rochdale.

PARTICIPATE

There are many ways in which you can get involved in the Fusion Radio Project; some of these include:


• Taking part in our training courses and workshops and gaining skills and accreditations
• Being part of our steering group and helping to run one of our broadcasts
• Presenting a Radio Show
• Interviewing a guest or an interesting person for broadcast. This could be a local Councillor, or MP, somebody that provides a service to young people, another young person that has made an achievement or even a local celebrity
• Being interviewed or speaking on air about something important to you
• Providing songs, tracks or audio material that you have produced so that Fusion Radio can promote you
• Research & finding information for news items and other programmes
• Producing and editing radio programmes
• Arranging guests and interviewees
• Becoming a peer mentor and supporting other young people by passing on skills you have learnt
• Answering calls or emails as a broadcast volunteer
• Arranging prizes for competitions
• Helping to promote the project by designing or distributing publicity material
